Launchpad594

Now accepting applications for Spring program - Deadline extended!

Launchpad594 is a selective program that supports innovative, creative and social entrepreneurs to launch and grow thriving businesses.  The customized  business launchpad program provides high-potential entrepreneurs in the  startup and early development phase of their enterprises with a framework and resources to establish long-term success. This hands-on program includes a 12 week business boot camp,  additional  targeted  marketing workshops, access to mentors, a community of exceptional entrepreneurs, as well as the possibility of grants and loans.

Selected entrepreneurs and creatives will have the opportunity to validate their ideas through lean business model strategies and market research, develop financial models,  explore digital fabrication options with a 2D and 3D digital design expert , get help with branding ,  expand their marketing tool box, gain access to free legal services, learn about a variety of financing sources and develop their pitch.

Eligibility

Launchpad594  is for early-stage, high-impact and high-potential underrepresented entrepreneurs and innovators from Boston. We encourage applications from  women, immigrants, veterans, and other underrepresented groups - particularly from innovators  living in Fairmount Corridor communities, including Roxbury, Dorchester, Hyde Park and Mattapan . The ideal startup is comprised of a team, with each member bringing a unique set of skills that will help the enterprise succeed. However, exceptional solo entrepreneurs committed to putting it all on the line are also encouraged  to apply.  The Fairmount Startup Launchpad is particularly poised to support startups in creative industries and social enterprises but we welcome applicants with innovative ideas of all kinds to apply.

Selected finalists must commit to attending all of the weekly sessions, completing assigned work, which will require significant dedicated additional time working on their business on a weekly basis, and to being supportive of others in their cohort.
